Insurance Excess Applicable

Insurance excess fees vary from MUR 25,000 to MUR 80,000 depending on:

The applicable insurance excess amount is specified in the Rental Agreement and accepted by the Hirer prior to vehicle delivery or collection.

In the event of accident, negligence, misuse, theft, damage, or breach of rental conditions, the Hirer may remain liable for the applicable insurance excess amount.

A refundable security deposit may be required depending on:

• Rental duration
• Insurance conditions
• Customer profile

The Company reserves the right to request a security deposit before vehicle delivery or collection.

Reservation Confirmation Requirements

Bank processing fees, currency conversion fees, intermediary banking fees, or international transaction charges may apply depending on banking regulations and payment providers.

No refund shall be issued:

The vehicle must not be used for:

• Dangerous or reckless driving

• Illegal activities
• Use by unauthorised drivers

Any breach may result in:

• Immediate termination of the rental agreement

The Hirer must immediately contact Sun Kave Co Ltd in case of:

• Breakdown
• Accident
• Mechanical issue
• Theft or attempted theft

Important Conditions

• Abandoning the vehicle is strictly prohibited
• No repairs shall be carried out without prior approval
• A police report may be required in case of accident or theft

The Hirer remains fully responsible for:

• Traffic fines
• Speed camera violations
• Parking penalties
• Toll violations
• Road traffic contraventions
• Legal offences committed during the rental period

The Hirer authorises Sun Kave Co Ltd to disclose relevant customer and driver information to competent authorities where legally required.

Administrative processing fees may apply where the Company is required to process legal or administrative matters.

Vehicles must not circulate during Class III cyclone warnings or above.

Any damage, accident, flooding, or loss occurring during prohibited circulation periods may become the responsibility of the Hirer.

Customers must comply with official Mauritian government and emergency authority instructions.

Customer information may be collected and processed for:

• Insurance purposes
• Legal compliance
• Security verification
• Payment processing
• Operational coordination

Information may include:

• Driving licence
• Passport details
• Flight information
• Contact information
• Payment details

All information is processed in accordance with applicable Mauritian laws and the Company’s Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted under Mauritian law, the Company shall not be held liable for:

• Loss of personal belongings
• Delays caused by weather conditions
• Flight delays
• Banking interruptions
• Third-party technical failures
• Events beyond reasonable control

Customers remain responsible for complying with all rental conditions and Mauritian road regulations.

These Terms & Conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.

Any dispute arising in connection with the rental agreement shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Mauritian courts.
