About Our Tuitions

Standard lessons are practiced in small groups of 2 people. This ensures that all students were a standard of quality education. Our private lessons are exclusively for individual learning.

Our goal: fun and fast learning, with safety as a priority.

In general, it takes, on average, 6 to 10 hours of lessons to learn how to kitesurf.

The Sun Kave Kite Surf teaches beginners as well as experienced practitioners, who want to learn tips and tricks in Freestyle or Wave jumps.

Our Kitesurf lessons take place Monday to Sunday 7/7, between 10am and 5pm in the wide and shallow bay of Kite Lagoon, Le Morne, Mauritius.
We do 3 sessions of 2 hours a day.
Session 1: 10:00-12:00
Session 2: 13:00-15:00
Session 3: 15:00-17:00

This place is simply the perfect place to learn and develop your Kitesurfing skills.

What if I am a beginner?

Classes begin with theory and safety rules. First, we aim to teach key and basic skills: the correct movements and how to react in all types of situations you may face while sailing.

You will learn how to prepare your Kite, the bar, the harness as well as the security systems and also to analyze the current conditions (wind direction and risks). We then move on to the most fun part: practice. Our goal here is to spend as much time in the water as possible. Beginner lessons consist of practicing several kite control exercises: piloting, body dragging and more in-depth exercises as you go. We also make sure that our students have a thorough knowledge of the flight window and the power zone.

It’s only when you feel comfortable and confident in all aspects that we introduce you to the board. You will learn how to stand on the board, control the kite and the board, make your first edges, go upwind, turn around without falling and up to your first jump attempts!

Reservations are made with a simple email confirmation, after confirmation a 10% deposit will be required by bank transfer
